Portugal at the first session of the UN-Habitat Executive Board of 2025
Portugal participated in the session of the UN-Habitat Executive Board, which took place from 25th to 27th March in Nairobi.
On this occasion, the Executive Board reviewed the financial status of the Program and the balance of its normative and operational activities, as well as the status of implementation of resolutions from the United Nations Assembly for Human Settlements.
Additionally, discussions continued the Strategic Plan for 2026-2029 and the work plan for 2026-2027, where Portugal continues to defend the importance of a strong base anchored on Human Rights and in line with the New Urban Agenda.
