Portuguese Ambassador to Kenya at the United Nations Assembly for Human Settlements

The Portuguese Ambassador to Kenya and Somalia, Ana Filomena Rocha, was present at the United Nations Assembly for Human Settlements, where she contributed with the national experience to the panel dedicated to the localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In her speech, the Ambassador highlighted the integration of the 2030 Agenda in Portuguese municipalities and the Lusophone SDG Hub, for municipalities, civil society and institutions in Portuguese-speaking countries for technical cooperation in the localization of SDGs, which demonstrate our national commitment. Portugal advocated and reaffirmed its support for the continued prioritization of this activity in the Agency’s Strategic Plan 2026-2029.
