High-level event “Vocational Training for the Future of Work: Global Cooperation and Regional Perspectives”
On 13 May, the Permanent Mission of Portugal in Geneva, in partnership with the International Labour Organization, organized the high-level event “Vocational Training for the Future of Work: Global Cooperation and Regional Perspectives”, which brought together Ambassadors from the CPLP Member States, Australia and the Philippines.
The discussion provided an enriching dialogue between national and regional perspectives on the strategic role of vocational training in preparing for the future of work, highlighting its importance in promoting skills, creating decent and inclusive employment, and adapting to ongoing transformations in labour markets.
